Started massage after breaking my wrist rock climbing – rehab made me curious about how bodies heal. Now I use that fascination to help Deluxe Massage clients feel amazing!

I sort of fell into massage therapy by accident? Back in 2014 I broke my wrist pretty badly (don’t try one-handed rock climbing, folks!) and got really interested in how the physical therapist was helping me recover. Started asking tons of questions and realized I was more excited about rehab than my actual marketing job! Took a leap and enrolled in massage school while still in a wrist brace – my classmates had to practice on me with one arm tied behind my back, haha!

Got my Swedish foundation first, then kept adding more skills because I get bored easily. Deep tissue work is great for those stubborn problem areas, Lomi Lomi brings this amazing flow that people just melt into, and reflexology is my newest obsession – your feet really do connect to everything! Been at Deluxe Massage since 2018, and love how each day is different. Some clients need pure relaxation to switch off their busy London brains, others have specific issues we tackle together. Had this one client with plantar fasciitis who nearly cried when reflexology helped after months of pain… those moments make all the studying worth it!
