About me
Fell into massage therapy by accident really… was studying physical therapy when my roommate needed a practice partner for her massage course. Turns out I had a natural touch for it! That was back in 2012, and I’ve been hopelessly addicted to helping people feel better ever since.
Got my official training at Valley Institute (2013-2014) but learned way more during my 6-month work exchange at that wellness center in Bali—talk about diving into the deep end! Worked briefly at Oasis Day Spa until the manager and I had a… let’s call it a “difference of opinion” about appointment scheduling, lol. Been independent since 2016, renting space at that cute little studio near the farmer’s market.
Training, qualifications & experience:
- Valley Institute certification program, 720 hrs
- Work-study program at Bali Healing Center (2015)
- Advanced Deep Tissue workshop w/ Dr. Wilson
- Certified in Indian Head Massage - level 2
- That anxiety-specific relaxation training w/ Dr. Bennett
