Massage runs in my blood—literally! My grandmother was the unofficial “healer” in our small town back in Birmingham, and I grew up watching her work magic with her hands on everyone from farmers with bad backs to moms with colicky babies. Started helping her when I was maybe 13? Just little stuff like setting up her space and warming towels, but I soaked up everything she taught me.

After a detour through college (tried accounting—big mistake!) and a stint working at that big tech company downtown (even bigger mistake!), I finally admitted what I’d always known… I was meant to follow in grandma’s footsteps.

Got my official training in 2015, but honestly, the foundation was built during those years watching grandma work her magic.

Now I blend traditional Swedish techniques with some of grandma’s intuitive methods, plus deep tissue work for when those stubborn knots need extra attention.
